People who participate in heavy exercise or do a lot of running should consume more protein. It is suggested that an additional 1.2 to 1.8 kilograms of protein should be consumed daily by people who participate in these activities. The additional amounts depend on how much exercising you do each day.
An estimate of just how much protein a person needs on a daily basis is around should be anywhere from ten to twenty percent of your total daily calories. Our bodies do not store proteins like it stores glucose or fats.
