An integral component of Master Cleanse is the lemonade diet. The standard recipe of this popular diet simply involves imbibing a concoction of fresh lemon juice, distilled water, organic cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. In doing so, the mixture will help to expel harmful toxins from your body. Preparing the original dietary mixture is very easy. Start by adding lemon juice (2 tbsp.) and cayenne pepper (1/10th tbsp.), to rich maple syrup (2 tbsp.). For the lemon juice, you may either hand-squeeze a slice of lemon, or use a juicer. Follow this up, by whisking all ingredients thoroughly until they have been entirely mixed. Your lemon diet will now be ready. Consume the mix, and then drink a glass of cold distilled water. It’s as simple as that.
Some dieters prefer to drink a smoothie version of the lemonade diet. Like them, you too could grow wearisome of consuming the same mixture over an indefinite period of time, and that too, every day. In general, the same ingredients go into making a smoothie form of the original diet, except for the addition of ice cubes, and the use of smoothie makers.
To create a smoothie lemonade diet, drop a cup of ice cubes (made from distilled water) into your smoothie maker. Run the unit very briefly until the ice cubes have been broken up into minute pieces. Add cayenne pepper, maple syrup and lemon juice in the same quantities as recommended for the standard diet above. Turn the smoothie maker on once again and run it for a few more seconds until the main ingredients and the ice granules attain a thick, frothy texture.
On its own, the original lemonade diet is extremely effective and simple to create and follow. However, try drinking it every day in smoothie, crushed-ice form. You’ll find it easier to swallow, and far tastier and palatable. Of course, either way, you’ll achieve the same gratifying results.
